The Farm:

Mini Falls Farm is a small one acre farm located 45 minutes north of Santa Fe in the heart of historical Chimayo, New Mexico. Growing specialty cut flowers and making seasonal floral designs is our passion. Our main priority is using all organic practices as we farm in order to protect wildlife and the land while enriching the soil. Over the years, we have turned an acre of sand into a plot of healthy, living soil and are blessed to have access to an ancient acequia system that we use to irrigate the land. The farming history of our small village dates back to Spanish colonial times and we feel lucky to be a part of a long line of stewards. Our name comes from the “mini” waterfall that pours onto our land during irrigation season.

The Founders:

We are Lindsey Caviness and Mykel Diaz, founders of Mini Falls Farm. We each come to the project with over 20 years of landscaping experience. Both gardeners at heart with a shared dream of starting a farm, we made our dream a reality in 2015 when we established Mini Falls Farm. We could not have realized success without many helping hands that have been part of keeping the dream alive along the way.

Inspired by nature, we grow year-round and cultivate floral designs that reflect the season. We grow unique varieties of flowers, starting as early as February with anemones and ending the season as late as November with heirloom mums.
